The ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes is a key skill for staff at all levels in organisations. MY Consultants negotiating and influencing courses aim to build on the experience of participants and examines topics including:
- Preparing yourself for negotiating and influencing
- Building rapport to allow you to influence more effectively
- Developing enhanced listening skills
- Enhancing the participants' ability to ask questions which can influence. This is developed by examining the specifics of language that individuals use.
- Seeking mutually positive outcomes
- Remaining calm in difficult situations
- Closing the negotiation
Throughout the course techniques are introduced and participants have the opportunity to develop and practise these techniques through hands on activities and role play negotiations.
